THE WIDTH OF THE BODICE AND THE SHAPE OF THE ARMHOLE

This silhouette is constructed using a single straight pattern. The shape of the armhole causes the width of the back panel to be significantly larger than the width of the front panel. As a result, it creates a cocoon-like silhouette. 　This type of silhouette, achieved by increasing the width of the back panel, can be applied to coats.
